I'm proud to say that I have been working with children for 17 years. I have the experience of working in daycare, being a nanny, and a mother. I have been a nanny  for two families for five years and worked in daycare for seven years. Children have always been a passion of mine since I was little. I love to teach and watch them learn with excitement. I worked in 3 daycares which was great but wanted to expand my own dreams of having my own daycare. I have worked really hard and completed all my education in early childhood education to receive my associate's degree. I'm also first aid and CPR certified for the safety of the children. I did training to get my food handling certificate. As a teacher, I know I'm learning something new every day with the children and always get new memories. Making memories is the best experience I can have with these children.

        A little bit more about me. In my free time, I love to be outside and staying as active as possible. Going on vacation and traveling with my family though is the best time I do have. I believe making memories for a lifetime is the best part of life. One of the best memories I made was skydiving! I have two children of my own. A son who is 9 years old and an infant son. Lastly, we own a wheaton terrier named Alice. She is such a sweet girl and acts as our school mascot. The family expanded this year with a kitten named Leo, who is such a snuggle bug.

      The reason I opened this daycare was knowing that I had to provide a safe, loving, clean, quality daycare that cared for the parents and children equally. Being a parent, I know how important your child is to you. Communication is key! Without or lack of communication it can make it difficult for the child, parent, and provider. Knowing that in this smaller ratio, then regular daycares with much bigger ratios, it is easier to have better communication among everyone. Parents will have the Procare app to have communication and see the progress of your child's day. I like to focus all my attention on children to make sure they are getting what they need, they are happy and learning all at the same time. Making sure that everyone is happy is the main priority. As my saying is "jumping over the stars one at a time". That's how I came up with the name Over the Stars. Just as each star is a new goal to accomplish and get over. Also, I go "over the stars" to make sure everyone is getting what they need. Knowing that I am helping out families in the community is what made me want to open up this daycare. I have put much passion and time to reach my dream and glad it happened. I hope that you come in and check us out. I couldn't see my self doing anything else!
